Materials: Arched spruce top; arched figured maple back and sides; solid three piece maple neck; solid ebony fingerboard with split-block pearl inlays; GB logo peghead inlay; 7-ply top binding, quintuple bound back and neck, solid bone nut; grained ivoroid binding and heelcap.

Hardware: 100% original gold hardware includes twin '58 Special humbucking pickups; Gotoh 510 tuners; ebony volume and tone control knobs; ebony tailpiece with iabalone inlay; bound maple pickguard; inlaid ebony adjustable bridge.

Notes: Following the tremendous popularity of the George Benson GB-10, Ibanez produced a number of successors, including the single pickup GB-15, the ornate GB-100, and a version with a full size, full depth body, the GB-20. As Benson himself frequently performed with guitars with built-in pickups, Ibanez finally issued the GB-200, the first in the series with full-size humbuckers set into the body.

Designed with a gracefully rounded Venetian cutaway, cut extra deep for maximum fret access, the GB-200 was built in very limited numbers for a few years only. It's replacement, the costly GB-300 model, abandoned this elegant contour in favor of the more utilitarian Florentine cutaway, and remains in production at this writing.

A genuine Japanese crafted instrument from the Fujigen workshop, this guitar is in all-original showroom condition, without playwear of any kind. Lovingly maintained, the instrument has original medium jumbo frets on the solid ebony fingerboard, with smooth low action over a fresh high-precision setup and a gentle D profile neck. The 24 3/4" scale is fast and easy, and the full depth body delivers a warm, vibrant voice, with original 58 Special humbucking pickups, for superior sustain and feedback resistance.

With its label signed by the legend himself, the GB-200 is a superb working instrument, and a very rare find indeed. One only, call now.

Setup: The frets have been precision leveled, recrowned and polished as required; trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; string slots at nut and bridge inspected and recut as necessary; bridge foot contour inspected and fit to top as necessary; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished.

This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings (.012-.054). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original deluxe Ibanez logo arched black plush lined hardshell case, with coverlet.
