Body size at lower bout: 14". Scale length: 25 1/2" Nut Width: 1 11/16" Body depth: 1 5/8"

Finish: Original dark cherry finish, nitrocellulose type

Materials: Solid tiger flame maple top, solid mahogany body and neck, solid ebony fingerboard with pearl fan inlays.

Hardware: All gold hardware includes twin '57 Classic pickups, Gibson Deluxe single ring tuners, ABR-1 tuneamatic bridge, and stop tailpiece. Gold bonnet volume and tone knobs; beveled 5-ply pickguard; signature engraved truss rod cover.

Notes: With its innovative lightweight compact twin cutaway hollow body design, the Gibson Johnny A Signature is crafted with all solid woods including a carved tiger flame maple top, solid mahogany body and neck, and solid ebony fingerboard. The 22 fret neck joins the body at the 19th fret for maximum access to the uppermost fingerboard. Feather light 6lb. 7oz body with long 25 3/4" L-5 / Strat scale, for maximum snap and dynamics.

This example shows particularly extravagant tiger flame with all original hardware and finish, and is in virtually unplayed condition, without pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear. Includes Custom Shop papers, and accessory pack including cable and cloth. A highly versatile instrument for the working performer, and a hard-to find model on the vintage market.

Setup: Trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished.
