Materials: AAA quilted maple top; solid mahogany body; solid 22 fret maple neck with adjustable truss rod; solid Amazon Rosewood fingerboard.
Hardware: All black anodized hardware includes Sadowsky humbucking and single coil pickups: compensated adjustable tremelo tailpiece; Sperzel locking tuners; master volume, tone and preamp controls; 5 way pickup selector switch; 3 way preamp mini-toggle switch.
Notes: The Sadowsky S-Style is a modern evolution of the classic Strat, with an advanced feature set that optimizes tonal versatility for the professional performer. Crafted with an intensely quilted maple top, the S-Style features twin Sadowsky humbuckers with a single coil pickup in the center position. With master volume and tone controls, the Sadowsky is also equipped with a proprietary preamp, controlled by the center knob and a mini toggle switch. When engaged, the preamp functions either as a midrange boost for a more saturated tone, or as an adjustable gain boost to enhance cutting power and downstream effects. In addition, the humbucking pickups are coil-tapped when the pickup selector switch is set to position 2 or 4.
With its smooth matte finish, the gentle D neck profile is particularly inviting, and the elegantly dressed fretwork on the solid Amazon Rosewood fingerboard board makes for an exceptionally nimble playing experience. This stunning example is finished in a handsome two-tone sunburst, and shows particularly intense quilted maple from rim to rim. At just 8lb. 5oz, the guitar is exceptionally well balanced on the lap or the strap.
Immaculately maintained in virtually unplayed condition, the guitar is supplied with its original tremelo arm, and custom Sadowsky rigid-shell gig bag. Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge (.012-054) flatwound nickel strings. The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.
