Notes: The Gibson CS-336 model is an innovative guitar, designed to offer a compact 14" thinline style body distinctly lighter than 335 style guitars, and permitting unimpeded access to the entire range of the 22 fret fingerboard. Introduced in 2002, the 336 is the successor to the ES-346 Paul Jackson Jr. model. This contemporary Custom Shop version adds vintage touches including a '50's style peghead profile, and all-nickel hardware including classic Kluson style tulip key tuners.

This guitar is an outstanding example, in virtually unplayed condition, with a hollowed tone chamber body. Weight is just 6lb 11oz. for excellent balance on the lap or the strap. Smooth low action over a gentle D profile, compound radius neck, with a fresh high-precision setup. The twin '57 Classic pickups provide versatile tone for jazz, blues or rock.

Discontinued some years ago, the CS-336 is now a hard-to find guitar on the vintage market, and a highly desirable instrument for the working performer. This gleaming guitar comes complete with original case, hang tag, and Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity. One only: call now.

Setup: Trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished.

Case: Original deluxe Gibson logo black arched plush lined hardshell case.
