Materials: Solid figured alder body; solid one-piece maple neck and fingerboard.

Notes: The most popular and imitated electric guitar of all time, the Fender Stratocaster was introduced in 1954. The original natural finish option was introduced in 1972 and offered until 1982. This example is an exceptionally fine early three bolt guitar, showing all original finish with no cracks, pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear. Original staggered pole pickups, original CTS 250K volume pot dates to '74, original middle tone pot dates to '73. Vintage push-pull pot in outer tone knob position, older 5 way pickup selector switch.

Maintained in wonderful condition, the instrument shows only light incidental playwear, and the original frets are high and ungrooved. The solid maple "B" width neck is a very comfy medium profile. An exceptionally handsome example of one of Fender's most attractive finish options.

Setup: This instrument is strung with light gauge nickel strings (.010). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original Fender black tolex rectangular hardshell case with red plush lining.
