Body size at lower bout: 17", Scale length: 25 1/2" Nut: 1 11/16"

Finish: Vintage ebony finish, nitrocellulose lacquer type.

Materials: Solid bookmatched handcarved spruce top; solid handcarved maple back and sides with Venetian cutaway; solid maple neck; solid ebony fingerboard; bound body, neck and f-holes; solid bone nut.

Hardware: All original gold hardware includes twin Heritage humbucking pickups; bound pickguard; gold tailpiece with logo insert, gold Grover Rotomatic tuners with Imperial stairstep deco keys; compensated adjustable ebony bridge; black barrel knobs; adjustable truss rod.

Notes: Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the old Gibson plant, the Eagle Classic is Heritage's answer to the legendary Gibson L-5CES. The Eagle Classic shares the same materials and specifications as its Gibson cousin, including the solid carved spruce top, solid maple back and sides, ebony fingerboard, long scale, and parallel braced soundboard. Slim gentle C profile neck with smooth low action, fat classic jazz tone in the Wes Mongomery tradition. An elegant twin pickup jazz box, the guitar is in superb condition without cracks, pick, buckle, thumb or fingerbgoard wear and is supplied with its original hardshell case. A handmade US built classic at a truly best buy price.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings (.013-.056). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.
