Notes: Handbuilt in Austin to the highest standards of craft, the Collings I-35 Deluxe is the firm's top-of-the line semi-hollow guitar. Taking the classic ES-335 as a starting point, the I-35 Deluxe ups the game with all solid tonewoods, in a body and neck crafted of sumptuous figured mahogany throughout. With its solid maple center block and stop tail design, the I-35 enhances sustain, with superior feedback resistance at higher volume levels.

Astoundingly light in weight, this deluxe version of Collings' popular I-35 model tips the scales at a phenomenal 6lb 4oz, pounds lighter than its Gibson counterpart. Premium touches include twin TV Jones TV Classic Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, Gotoh SG301 18:1 tuners, and grained ivoroid binding and hardware throughout, right down to the pickup rings, knobs and truss rod cover.

This handsome example shows opulent mahogany figure throughout, and has been maintained in 100% original condition, without apparent playwear. The classic '59 style full C profile neck offers smooth low action over gleaming traditional medium nickel-silver fretwire, with a fresh high-precision setup. The tone is pure bliss, from blues to bebop to rockabilly heaven.

Giving the model a maximum 5 star rating in every category, Guitar Buyer magazine ruled as follows: "Quite simply a flawless guitar, in terms of looks, sound and build." Couldn't have said it better ourselves. One only: call now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings (.011-.049). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original premium black Ameritage plush lined hardshell case, with original factory paperwork.
