Notes: Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the old Gibson plant, the Heritage H-535 features a semi-hollow thinline body, classic gentle C neck profile, and fast 24 3/4" scale. This example has exceptional tiger flame maple in both top and back, as well as a bound figured maple pickguard. The design harks back to the classic Gibson ES-355 of the late 50's, and features the traditional handcraft of that era in every guitar.

The guitar is in superb condition, with all original hardware, medium jumbo frets, and a neck that plays effortlessly, with a fresh high precision setup. Free of pick, thumb, or fingerboard wear, the guitar has been lovingly maintained, without pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear.

The factory-installed Lollar Imperial humbucking pickups are low-wound at the neck and standard wound at the bridge, measuring 6.75 and 8.70K respectively, combining clarity and detail with satisfying bite. The semi-hollow body of the instrument offers enhanced sustain and feedback resistance, and the thinline profile is a pleasure under the arm.

A versatile instrument equally at home with jazz, rock or rhythm and blues, the H-535 is unquestionably the best value in a true US made guitar for the working pro. All in its original Heritage logo arched hardshell case, with plush lining and factory paperwork. An exceptionally attractive example of a hardworking guitar: one only, call now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings (.011). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 4/64" to 5/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.
