Hardware: 100% original hardware including bound tortoise pickguard; inlaid ebony adjustable bridge; gold sealed tuners; twin gold GB Special Johnny Smith style floating humbucking pickups; volume and tone controls with amber speed knobs; tortoise inlaid gold die-cast split tailpiece with individual adjuster knobs.

Notes: Introduced in 1978, the Ibanez George Benson GB-10 model was the first artist model in the company's history, and remains the longest running as well. Designed to the detailed specifications of Benson himself, the GB-10 was a breakthrough design for the modern player. The slimmer profile hugs the body closer than traditional big boxes, and the thicker laminated top significantly increased feedback resistance for performance at increased volume levels.

This guitar is crafted with a handsomely figured maple back, and solid ebony fingerboard. Deluxe features include the tension-adjustable tailpiece, bound f-holes, inlaid ebony bridge, and twin GB special floating pickups. Small wonder the GB-10 has remained one of the world's most popular and versatile jazz guitars to this day.

A premium Signature model Benson (not to be confused with the budget SE version) this genuine Japanese made guitar is from the Fujigen factory, built before production was relocated to Korea. This guitar is in outstanding 100% original condition, showing no cracks, pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear. Smooth low action with a fresh high-precision setup over a gentle D profile neck. Apart from a bit of fog on the plating, and a few incidental finish nicks, this gleaming guitar is all original, perfectly set up, and ready to roll.

Versatile, comfortable, and hardworking: a true classic for the performing player. One only: call now.

Setup: Trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; string slots at nut and bridge inspected and recut as necessary; bridge foot contour inspected and fit to top as necessary; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished.

This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings (.012). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original Ibanez deluxe arched plush lined hardshell case.
