Notes: Vancouver, BC based luthier Shelley Park has built a worldwide following for her exquisitely crafted Selmer/Maccaferri style gypsy jazz guitars. Park guitars have become prized on both sides of the Atlantic for their beauty, power and ultra-meticulous craftsmanship.

Built for Pearl Django founder Neil Andersson, this Park Encore was built with a nimble 640mm scale, hard to find in a classic petite bouche Selmer style guiatr. Crafted from the most sought-after prewar style tonewoods, this stunning example has back and sides bookmatched from exquisitely figured solid Brazilian Rosewood, and a soundboard of tight grain Sitka spruce, intensely splayed with cross-grain silk.

Lovingly maintained in immaculate condition, the guitar is 100% original and appears virtually unplayed, with a vintage style amber toned lacquer finish. At a scant 3lb 13oz, (1.76kg) the guitar is featherlight and immaculately constructed, with a Bigtone pickup and endpin jack, gold art deco DR tailpiece, and ultra-premium engraved gold Waverly tuners.

The voice is sparkling clear, with excellent definition and power. The neck has a gentle, elegant D profile, that glides effortlessly through the palm. It's unlikely we'll see another of these Brazilian beauties in the future, at any price. Reserve this striking instrument while you can. One only: call now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with light gauge silvered steel strings.

Case: Original black deluxe arched plush lined hardshell case.
