Notes: Introduced in mid-1952, the Gibson Les Paul Model, and has remained perhaps the worlds' most iconic electric guitar to this day. The Patent Applied For humbucking pickup was introduced with the model in mid-1957, and the sunburst maple top Les Paul Standard made its debut the following year, becoming one of the rarest and most coveted Les Pauls ever produced.

These '59 Reissues are justly famed; never has a more fanatically accurate recreation of this legendary guitar left Gibson workbenches. The neck has the classic full "C" profile of the late 50's LPs, the frets are the classic medium-jumbos, and famously easy to play. Even the serial number has been inked on the back of the peghead in the original font, not stamped as on reissues of lesser accuracy.

This outstanding example is crafted with an exceptionally figured bookmatched tiger flame maple top, with a gently faded washed cherry sunburst and aged nickel hardware to complete the vintage appearance. This example is in virtually unplayed condition, with smooth low action over true vintage style medium jumbo frets over a gently rounded '59 style neck profile. Finally, the guitar is supplied with a complete set of original style hang tags and all factory paperwork, including Custom Shop Certificate of Authentitcity. The few surviving original LP Standards command several hundred thousand on the collector's market. Here's a great opportunity to get true vintage tone, feel and look at a real player's price.

Setup: Trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished.

Case: Original Gibson logo deluxe arched fitted hardshell case with pink plush lining.
