Notes: Handbuilt in Austin to the highest standards of craft, the Collings I-35 is a stunning custom quality semi-hollow thinline electric instrument. Taking the classic ES-335 as a starting point, the I-35 is crafted of custom highly figured solid tiger maple. With its solid maple center block and stop-tail design, the I-35 enhances sustain, with superior feedback resistance at higher volume levels.

At just 6lb 14oz, the instrument is notably lighter than its Gibson predecessor, with premium touches including twin Jason Lollar Imperial humbucking pickups, smooth Gotoh 18:1 tuners, and grained binding throughout.

This striking instrument is in 100% original condition, and appears all but unplayed. The classic '59 style full C profile neck offers smooth low action over gleaming traditional medium nickel-silver fretwire, with a fresh high-precision setup. The tone is clear and detailed, with exceptional touch sensitivity, and crunch right where you need it.

A special plus, an additional set of Lollar Low Wind Imperial pickups is included. Giving the model a maximum 5 star rating in every category, Guitar Buyer magazine ruled as follows: "Quite simply a flawless guitar, in terms of looks, sound and build." Couldn't have said it better ourselves. One only: call now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with light gauge nickel roundwound strings (.011-.049). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 4/64" to 5/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original Collings arched black plush lined hardshell case.
