Materials: Solid handcarved figured maple back and sides; solid bookmatched handcarved Adirondack bearclaw spruce top; solid mahogany neck with 3-ply walnut/maple centerstripe; Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with block mother of pearl inlay; ornate vine mother-of-pearl peghead inlay, triple-bound body, bound fingerboard and headstock.

Hardware: Original hardware includes original Brazilian rosewood bridge, original gold-plated Frequensator tailpiece and "Epsilon-logo" tuners, hex-key adjustable truss rod. Vintage correct bound tortoise pickguard.

Notes: A great playing, great sounding example of Epiphone's legendary Broadway model, built in the original New York factory. The guitar is fitted with all original gold hardware, including original Epsilon logo 16X1 tuners, the original "Patent Pending" Frequensator tailpiece and the original adjustable Brazilian rosewood bridge. This example has the large script peghead logo, a rare variant seen chiefly on higher end Epi postwar electric models.

The instrument is in excellent condition, free of pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear. The guitar is without cracks of any kind, the binding is all tight to the body, and the tailpiece is in perfect shape. The sunburst finish was replaced some decades ago, long enough that it now shows some fairly heavy checking on the top, and the guitar is fitted with a vintage correct bound pickguard of thick true nitrocellulose tortoise. With fresh pro fretwork and neckset, the action is smooth and low, with the classic Epi light vee profile, not round or clubby like many guitars of its era. With an open powerful voice, with exceptional projection, this guitar is an unbeatable value, dollar for dollar, for pure performance.

Case: Deluxe plush hardshell case.
