Notes: Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the old Gibson plant, the Heritage H-555 is the firm's top-of-the line semi-hollow guitar. A tribute to the ultra-premium ES-355, as played by B.B. King, Keith Richards, and other legendary performers, this ornate model features a highly figured tiger flame maple body and neck, all gold hardware, and an inlaid ebony fingerboard. The stop tail design enhances sustain, and the solid maple body block offers superior feedback resistance at higher volume levels.

From the very first year of production, this outstanding instrument was built by some of Heritage's most seasoned luthiers, with long tenure at Gibson's fabled Kalamazoo factory. The guitar is crafted of exquisitely flamed AAA maple throughout, and has been carefully maintained in 100% original condition, without pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear.

The matched set of original humbucking pickups measure 7.67 and 8.30k respectively, and are traditionally voiced for full bodied vintage tone. With smooth low action, and a fresh high precision setup over an elegant D profile neck, this striking instrument is both highly playable and notably versatile in performance.

All of which begs the question: when did Gibson themselves ever build a prettier slimline guitar? A showpiece in a distinguished lineage of hard working instrument, and a best buy in a true US made premium grade instrument. One only: call now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings. The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 4/64" to 5/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original deluxe black Heritage arched plush lined hardshell case.
