Body size at lower bout: 16". Scale length: 26 3/8" (670mm) Nut Width: 1 11/16" (42mm) Neck depth: .89/.93 1st/10th fret

Materials: Bookmatched solid Sitka spruce top; solid figured Indian rosewood back and sides; solid mahogany neck; solid ebony fingerboard; rosewood body binding.

Hardware: All original hardware including solid ebony bridge; DR Selmer style tailpiece; gold 16X1 tuners; Bigtone pickup with endpin jack.

Notes: Shelley Park's guitars have become prized on both sides of the Atlantic for their beauty, power and ultra-meticulous craftsmanship. An updating of the Selmer "Petit Bouche" used by Django himself, the Park Encore has the long 670mm scale for exceptional punch and projection, and a 14 fret neck for improved access. With top of remarkably tight grained solid Sitka spruce rimmed in handsome rosewood binding, the guitar is notably light in weight (just 4lb. 2oz.) and the neck joins the body in a slim, elegant flat heel.

Immaculately constructed, this example is built with back and sides of lustrous solid Indian rosewood, and maintained in superb condition, with all original hardware and Bigtone pickup.

The Park neck profile is a solid flattened D, with smooth low action over a fresh high precision setup. The guitar is 100% original, and shows no pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear. Apart the typical tiny cleated grainline crack between the end of the fingerboard and the soundhole rosette, the instrument appears to be in virtually unplayed condition. The voice is clear and brilliant, with excellent projection and cutting power for the largest campfire jam.

An inviting combination of Old World design and New World sensibility, and an excellent buy in a true luthier built masterpiece. One only: call now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with .11 gauge silvered steel strings, and will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference.

Case: Original deluxe black arched plush lined hardshell case.
