Materials: Solid tiger flame Bigleaf maple back and sides; bookmatched Western Red cedar soundboard; solid mahogany neck; solid ebony fingerboard; curly maple body binding.

Hardware: All original gold hardware includes DR Selmer style tailpiece; engraved tuners with ebony buttons; solid ebony bridge with Bigtone pickup and endpin jack.

Notes: Shelley Park's guitars have become prized on both sides of the Atlantic for their beauty, power and ultra-meticulous craftsmanship. A re-creation of the Favino "Petite Bouche" used by Django himself, the Park Montmartre has the long 670mm flamenco scale for exceptional punch and projection. In addition the extra deep and wide Favino style body is significantly larger than the Selmer style, with lighter bracing as well, for more bass response and sustain.

At a scant 3lb 14oz, this striking guitar is exceptionally light in weight, and deftly balanced on the lap. Immaculately constructed, the instrument is built with back and sides of dramatically figured Bigleaf maple, simply eye-popping in its intensity. The bookmatched Western Red cedar soundboard is exceptionally finely grained, with the warm, open voice the tonewood is renowned for, with excellent projection and vibrant resonance.

The acoustic voice is transmitted crisply to the ear via the oval side soundport, and to the amp with the Bigtone pickup fitted into the solid ebony bridge, with 1/4" endpin jack. The gentle C profile neck has smooth low action over a fresh high precision setup, and is fitted with side position markers, including one at the 9th fret.

Virtually unplayed, this gleaming guitar has all original finish and hardware, and is free of buckle, thumb, fret or fingerboard wear. Apart from a few incidental finish nicks, the instrument remains otherwise in splendid condition.

Shelley's guitars are rarely seen on the vintage market, as players tend to be keepers. Here's a chance to jump the queue, and bag a bargain too. A positive delight to the eye, ear and hand alike. One only: call now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with light gauge silvered steel strings, and will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference.

Case: Original deluxe black arched plush lined hardshell case.
