Notes: Bryant Trenier is a European trained luthier whose instruments combine traditional design with exacting contemporary standards of craft. Rare among contemporary builders, Trenier is a fine visual designer as well as a meticulous fabricator. The result is an instrument as pleasing to the eye as it is to the ear and the hand.

A 17" Venetian cutaway guitar in the tradition of the D'Aquisto Avant Garde, the Trenier Rosine is carved of exceptional tiger flame maple, with a hand-graduated bookmatched fine grained European spruce top. The cello-grade flamed maple back shows figure in a wonderfully symmetrical pattern, and the rims show a particularly fine vivid figure.

With it's finely carved X braced top, the Rosine has a clear, detailed voice, with the depth and warmth one expects from the orchestra sized body. The slightly shallower depth however, assures that the guitar is notably comfortable under the arm. Of particular note is the weight: at a staggering 4lb 14oz, this acoustic wonder is phenomenally lightweight for a full-sized archtop, and is effortlessly balanced on the lap or the strap.

The neck profile is gently rounded and easy in the hand, with nicely crowned medium frets over a fingerboard of solid black ebony. All handmade, the Rosine includes upscale features like curly maple body binding, premium Waverly tuners, and solid ebony hardware throughout. This handsome example is in 100% original condition, without pick, buckle, thumb, fret or fingerboard wear, with smooth low action over a fresh high precision setup.

Meticulously hand crafted, the Trenier Rosine is an instant classic, from one of the hottest builders in the field. One only: call now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge bronze roundwound strings. The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 4/64" to 5/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original deluxe black arched plush lined hardshell case.
