Notes: Since 1982, master luthier Brad Nickerson has built a reputation as a top-flight builder, and instructor to several generations of dedicated instrument builders. One of the select group of renowned artisans commissioned by the late Scott Chinery for his Blue Guitar project, Nickerson was honored by the Smithsonian Institution by having his guitar showcased on display in that celebrated exhibition. Moving from his native Massachusets in 2004, Brad established a new workshop in Ashville, NC, where he continues to teach and build custom instruments of presentation grade quality.

The dramatic curly maple back and sides of this jumbo cutaway guitar are figured to almost 3D intensity, and complemented with handsome contrasting mahogany binding. The soundboard is crafted of highly figured 'bearclaw' spruce, with dramatic cross-grain figure in the bookmatched top. At just 4lb. 5 oz. this stunning FC3 model is notably lightweight, with a voice that is powerful and sweetly balanced across the tonal range. The elegant Venetian cutaway allows unrestricted access to the uppermost frets: coaxing a thin strip of hardwood to this extreme angle takes skill and confidence only years of experience can convey.

Ideal for finger or pick style play, this exquisite instrument has been lovingly maintained in immaculate 100% original condition, without pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear. Smooth low action over elegant gentle D profile neck. Now $4400 new, this superb guitar let's you skip the wait, save the bucks and bag an eye-popping stunner now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge (.012) strings, and will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference.
