Notes: The instruments built by the Paul Reed Smith company are among the most influential and coveted electric guitars made anywhere. Introduced in 1993, the PRS Custom 22 has been the firm's workhorse model for decades, with its highly figured maple top, solid mahogany set-neck construction, and player-friendly features like the low friction nut, locking tuners and comfy 10" radius fingerboard.

This handsome example is a one-owner guitar in 100% original condition, with a deeply figured tiger maple '10' top, and natural blonde finish. At just 7lb 90z, the guitar is nicely balanced and a pleasure to hold. Smooth low action with a fresh high precision setup, over the traditionally contoured full C profile neck, very solid in the hand.

The 5 way pickup selector affords tremendous versatility in tone, with full humbucking or single coil options available at the twist of the switch. Well maintained, the guitar is free of pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear, showing only a few random lacquer nicks from its years of play.

A classic model from a celebrated builder, the PRS Custom 22 is a striking and versatile instrument for the demanding player. One only: call now.

Setup: The frets have been precision leveled, recrowned and polished as needed; trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; string slots at nut and bridge inspected and recut as necessary; bridge foot contour inspected and fit to top as necessary; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished.

This instrument is strung with nickel roundwound strings (.011-.049). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 4/64" to 5/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original black deluxe plush PRS hardshell case.
